Here is daddy and Andrew ready to go to church. Tomorrow is Andrew's birthday party. Mommy made his Elmo cake today and it turned out really cute. Grams & Papa Kramer & the Trotter family are coming over to celebrate with Mommy, Daddy & Andrew. We'll post pictures next week!

When we were in P'cola, Kenton, Tori & Kallie were also there for the weekend. We had breakfast at Cracker Barrel and here is Andrew & Kallie in the little rocking chairs. Kallie was born the day after Andrew!!! Aren't they so cute together.

We went to P'cola a couple of weeks ago. We took Andrew to the beach for the first time. We were only there for about 20 minutes, but he seemed to like it.

Andrew got his first haircut about 2 weeks ago. He was such a big boy sitting still. He had so much hair, as you can see!

All tuckered out after a long day a daycare! He fell asleep in my arms at the park after a buggy ride and then I layed him on the floor while I got his supper ready. Next thing I knew, he was in the kitchen with me. Little stinker!!!

Here is ourlittle shark (as Papa would say) in the bathtub. He is being pretty good in this picture, but he normally is trying to stand up, or trying to crawl out of the bathtub. He hates to get his hair washed too!!!

Pensacola trip

We had a really nice time in Pensacola this past weekend. We took Andrew to the beach Friday afternoon. It was fun, but it was about 200% humidity and about to storm. We only stayed for about 20 minutes, enough to take a few pictures and leave. Andrew was scared of the waves at first, but then was ok with them. We were able to visit his sister's family on Saturday and meet his Aunt Lydia from Washington state. She was very nice! Brianna, Ruth's new baby, was soooo cute. She was only 5lbs. 5 oz. and she was smaller than I would have thought. She seems to be a very sweet baby. I didn't hear her cry all day. We saw Kenton & Tori & Kallie Sunday morning for breakfast. She is very cute. She has a bunch of teeth and they make her look like a big girl. We headed back home after that. Andrew was sick of the car seat by the time we got home. He cried off and on the last 30 minutes of the trip. Glad to be home!!!

Weekend Plans

Ok, here I go, 2 days in a row!!! Jennifer, you would be proud of me. Well, I don't have any pictures yet, but maybe I can work on that next week on Tuesday or Thursday when I stay home with Andrew. We leave tomorrow to go see Ben's family in Pensacola. This will be Andrew's first long car trip (all of 5 1/2 hours) since Christmas time. He is bigger now, so I am wondering how he is going to do??? He is a good baby, so I figure he should do fine. Ben's sister Ruth had her 5th baby on Monday. Her name is Brianna. I am excited to see her. She was just 5lbs 10oz, so she will be soooo small compared to Andrew. Ben's Aunt from Washington state is also visiting. This will be my first time to meet her and Andrew's. I guess she knows a little bit of English, so I guess we can communicate some! We are going to try to stop at the beach tomorrow evening when we get there. This will be Andrew's first time at the beach. I got him some trunks/shirt for when we go in June and a little hat. He will look so cute. Hopefully Ben will let me put them on him tomorrow. He might just say that it is not necessary :(

Will this really be a 'Go'

Ok, I am going to try this again. I tried having a blog on xanga, but it was way too confusing how to use the site. I never could get my pictures/writings to look normal so I quit. I really like how Jennifer's blog site has turned out, and if she can do it, I should be able to do it :) Hee Hee!!! Anyways, I know this is a really old picture of Ben & I, but that is another thing I need to figure out. Last time I tried to download pictures from the camera onto the computer, it didn't work??? I have no idea why. I did it exactly as the directions said! I am going to try again though, sometime soon!!!

Andrew is doing good. He got his first haircut last Thursday. He looks like a little man, he is so adorable. I can't believe that he is really going to by 1 in less than 3 weeks. I don't know where the last year went too? He is crawling and cruising the furniture, so I know it won't be long till he is walking. Should I be excited or not??? Monday he decided he was going to try some cat food. He had just eaten and was playing on the kitchen floor while I was washing bottles - man I am so ready to be done with that! - and I turned around and he had cat food in his hand and was smacking his lips so I knew he had it in his mouth. The first thing I thought, was he doesn't have any teeth, the cat food is not going to disolve in his mouth, he is going to gag & throw up. Well, I was right. He lost his entire dinner right there on the kitchen floor. What a mess. Then, I had to feed him again, and yes, another bottle/bowl to clean :( UGGGGG. Yesterday I watched him like a hawk all day long. I had to get after him 3 or 4 times for going to the cat food bowl. What a little stinker, you would think he learned his lesson the first time!!!

Well, this past Sunday was my first Mother's Day. It was pretty good. I guess I had these imaginery thoughts about how it would be, but then reality set in, Andrew is only 1 years old!!! He was still getting over a bad cough/congestion so he wasn't fealing the best. We went to church with my parents and then to Outback for lunch. What were we thinking!!!! It was packed in there. Fortunatley, we got our table quickly, but the service was slow, Andrew was cranky - Oh ya, his first tooth broke through yesterday - and it was so hot in there. I say this, but next year I would rather go out the day before Mother's Day to eat! Then to top the day off, Ben & I had 1 year old nursery at church that evening and the service lasted 1 1/2 hours long. Seem like it is always extra long when we are working in the nursery!

Well, I really want to keep this up. I love yours Jennifer and enjoy reading when you write something. Maybe you can give me some tips on how you made your layout look so nice!!!
